This week in the world of the S4S Perspectives Calumet Girls!

This week, we played with markers, or at least its content! We learned about Chromography and how it takes many colors to make one! The activity called for the girls to color a strip on a piece of filler paper (we used good ole paper towel!), sit it in a little bit of water, and watch the colors rise and separate on the paper. Both the girls and I were extremely amazed and in awe as we watched colors we never thought would be included in a color appear on the paper! The girls left with even more knowledge on how things are made and the science behind the most simple of things like a marker, and a new and cool way to tie-dye!! Yet another great day at Perspectives Calumet!
